Vintage Betourne French Limoges Jp Loup Edition 3 Of 8 Enamel Copper Picture

VINTAGE BETOURNE FRENCH LIMOGES JP LOUP EDITION 3 OF 8 ENAMEL COPPER PICTURE. This is a gorgeous piece in wonderful condition. I have taken several pictures for you to see the beauty and amazing detail in such a wonderful picture. The flash has made the bright spots as there is no damage but due to the fact the the picture is bubbled when painted and does have texture as all of the do it makes it hard to not get the flash.

The frame is 18 1/2" x 15 and the picture size is 11" x 7 1/2. There are only 8 of these and this is #3. Jean Paul Loup was responsible for incredible handmade, hand-painted enamels produced at Betourne Studios. To get the deep rich finish, these enamels can take as many as 28 separate firings at temperatures ranging from 1110 to 1820 degrees. This production method results in both a costly and limited production, and therefore are truly rare works of fine art. Please check out my other auctions AND our store.....
