HERES AN AMAZINGLY SPECTACULAR ENAMEL-ON-COPPER PAINTING THAT SHOWS THREE 1920S HIGH-STYLE FASHION-CONSCIOUS AND MONIED WOMEN WHO ARE GROUPED TOGETHER AROUND A PILLAR THAT IS HOLDING WHAT APPEARS TO BE A SUNDIAL. THE THREE WOMEN, WHO ARE INTENTLY LOOKING AT THE SUNDIAL, ARE DRESSED TO THE NINES IN THE MOST MODERN FASHION OF THE ERA MUCH LIKE THE CLOTHING OF FRENCH DESIGNER PAUL POIRET AS RENDERED BY FRENCH ART DECO ARTISTS PAUL IRIBE OR GEORGES BARBIER! Please Note: This enamel-on-copper painting, which itself measures approximately twelve inches (12) in height by ten inches (10) in width, is signed by the artist Shokouh! And the condition is flawless -- absolutely flawless! Again, the overall scene shows three women who are located out of doors on a small grassy knoll and they are grouped together around a short white pillar that appears to be holding a sundial.

There is a vast skyline with rolling clouds above them. In the distance, off to the left, is a lake.

And in the distance, off to the right, are rolling hills. The woman in the background is standing upright while she looks down at the sundial. She is wearing a stunning modernist white dress covered with black circles, over which she has a flowing lime-green and brown cape. On her right hand is a ring with a large green stone, probably an emerald.

And her fashion statement is completed by a broad-rimmed floppy hat rendered in turquoise blue! On the right side of the trio is a woman who is bending over to look at the sundial.

She is wearing a very elegant purple, blue, and pink backless dress that has a large matching waist-high ribbon. On her left hand is a ring with a large red stone, probably a ruby. And white she is not wearing a hat, her short bobbed hair cut is rendered in a dark blood-red as a compliment to her dress colors. To round out the trio is a women who is sitting on the grassy knoll with her legs out in front. She is holding an open book that is face down on her lap.

Her intense red dress with its matching waist-high ribbon are the focal point in this enamel painting. And her fashion statement is completed by her beautiful red fingernails, ruby-red lips, and bold black hair style.

The overall color scheme used by the artist in this enamel-on-copper painting and the artists ability to render the subject matter in a painterly style reminiscent of 1920s Art Deco / Moderne are truly breath-taking! Again, the dimensions of the enamel painting itself are approximately twelve inches (12) in height by ten inches (10) in width.

The original gold frame measures approximately nineteen and one half inches (19 ½) in height by seventeen and one half inches (17 ½) in width. Again, the condition of the enamel painting itself is flawless -- absolutely flawless! The gold frame is nearly flawless with only a few small markings and minor scuffs. Also, Please Note: The enamel-on-copper painting is mounted to what appears to be a sheet of black glass, which is mounted within the gold frame. And the gold frame has its original paper backing.
