RARE Vintage Hand Painted Indo-PERSIAN Enamel Art Tiles (25) & Silver Story Belt

Rare ANTIQUE Hand Painted Belt of 25 Tiles in assorted Story Teller Persian themed scenes. Each tile is framed in silver and there is a silver clasp closure. There are 23 tiles on the belt and two extra tiles for sizing. The tiles are bordered in a jade green scrolled pattern with the painted tiles exhibiting colors of white background, blues and browns.

The back of the clasp has a stamped design (see photos). Each tile is approximately 1 1/8" wide by 1 3/8" tall.

The belt is approximately 28 in length not including the two extra tiles. This rare estate piece is truly a "work of art". It was acquired and owned by a woman who traveled & lived throughout the middle East and Asia in the 40's, 50's and 60's.
