Painting Geometric Star Rainbow light spectrum airbrush art OOAK signed framed
Painting Geometric Rainbow Star light spectrum airbrush art OOAK signed framed 22x27in. I painted this in the summer of 2019. I used to draw little versions of these in my school note books and sketch pads. I don't remember where I learned them, but it was 20+ years ago. This geometric star is created by using only straight lines that give the illusion of curves. I colored it in the light spectrum, like a rainbow. It is mostly freehand, so the few imperfections give it character. It seems like it is pretty old and classic based on its design and filigree. I really like this one and have had it hanging in my room, since completion.
It is one of a kind, and if it sells, I won't ever identically reproduce it. It is painted directly on the glass and frame. I used high quality opaque's and candy paints, so it is very vibrant. I finished the whole piece with a high quality automotive clear coat for a brilliant glossy luster, UV protection, longevity, and easy maintenance. It can be cleaned with basic alcohol based glass cleaner or automotive spray n shine, and a microfiber cloth.
I have wet sanded, buffed, and polished it. I also suppose you could wax it if you wanted. Feel free to ask any questions.
