For your consideration is museum reproduction of Pablo Picasso's "Blue Nude" artwork. This wood and silver framed artwork is made out of enamel and copper. It measures 9 3/8" by 8 3/4" with the frame; the artwork with the silver inner frame is approximately 5 3/4" by 4 3/4". Below is a translation of the Spanish information that appears on the back of the frame.
The artwork is in good vintage condition with some signs of wear on the frame and the back of it (see all photos for details). We guarantee that this reproduction in enamel is made entirely by hand, without any type of graphic printing, decaling or any other mechanical system being involved in its manufacturing process. Its technique is completely adapted to what is traditionally understood by FIRE ENAMEL, that is, to the application of successive layers of powdered glass (silica), colored with metal oxides and fused in ovens at temperatures not below 850° Celsius, on fine silver sheets of 1000/1000 purity, using techniques similar to those used in the manufacture of the ancient enamels that appear in our museums.
