This charming mini painting is done on copper in enamel. It depicts a Mediterranean style villa with several boats pulled right up to it. It is signed "Kern R J 56". I think that means Kern county in California, may be the Kern river or one of the many lakes, done by R J in 1956. The piece is framed in a silvered wood frame with tan accents. The back has a hook for hanging. The condition of this piece is good with some repaired damage to the lower inside edge of the frame. This is quite a heavy piece, I presume the copper used was quite thick. Easel is for display purposes only.
