An original enamel on copper painting by reputed French artist Louis Cardin (born 1931). Cardin creates bright scenes of children playing using kiln-fired enamel pigments over copper, often with a loosely splattered surface texture.
This scene depicts a girl and a boy in a fleid of flowers between trres. Cardin was a student of very well-listed French Cubist Andre L Hote (1885 1962). The piece is matte and presented in a beautiful gold frame with velvet matt. Painting is in excellent condition, no chips or any other damage. Size: 14" x 12" framed the art appears to be 10" x 8".
