LARGE VINTAGE ENAMEL ON COPPER PAINTING SIGNED EVELYN STAUB 8 X 12, 14x18 framed

I may have confused some folks recently when I posted this ad twice by mistake. Large enamel on copper painting of LOVELY young lady with flowers! Signed by well known Ohio artist, Evelyn Staub.

Staub had a gallery in Tipp City, Ohio. Earlier this year, 2022, I heard she was now living in assisted living. So, I'm guessing this work of her's is vintage. A student of her's, and a wonderful artist in her own right, Mrs. Edy Martin, said she was known for her "faces".

Staub proves that, in this masterpiece! The expression on the young lady's face is exquisite. Her eyes are closed as she savers the aroma of the flowers!

I was struck by the DETAIL in this painting! The execution of the hair, the eyebrows, and the face, show great skill and talent. Enamel is not as easy to use as paint. The copper plate is 8 X 12.

The frame is 14 X 18 inches. The copper plate has been glued to the outside of the glass, giving the piece another dimension. There is TRIPLE matting inside the frame! The cranberry metal frame is in very good condition, but does have 3 VERY small loses of paint, that are barely noticeable. These small paint loses might be covered with a matching color fingernail polish! Please see photo of the only one on the front. Please ask any questions you may have.
