This wonderfully vibrant and dynamic work features a series of beautifully stylised elephants balancing on a sloped tight rope. A vibrant orange elephant balances upon a wheel below the tightrope, while the ringmaster and an umbrella-wielding clown complete the symmetry of this beautifully balanced artwork. This exceptional example is executed in thick enamels atop a copper plate. The vibrant elephants appear atop a rust orange and black ground, the layers of enamel combining to create striking random effects. The enamel copper artwork is mounted upon a flat matte board and presented in its original frame.

This exceptional gallery-quality piece was originally exhibited at "The Eltham Gallery" in 1981, with the original gallery label remaining to the reverse. The copper panel measures approx 180mms square with the frame measuring 300mms square. This piece is presented in excellent vintage condition with no breaks or losses.

There are some exceptionally minor scuffs to the black backing board mentioned for complete accuracy. This stunning work of art has been very well cared for and presents spectacularly.
