Fabulous French Art Deco Limoges Enamel On Copper Madonna Virgin Mary Pendant Design! Hand painted by an exceptional Art Deco French artist in traditional Limoges over copper as a design intended to serve as a pendant but never completing its purpose, so definitely a lovely project for a potential art jeweler, no? The oval enamel miniature is approximately 4.5 cm (1 12.7/16 inches) in height, and approximately 3 cm (1 2.5/16 inches) in width. The Madonna is hand painted in white enamel on a blue field background with a gold halo. The enamel on copper painting is separated from an oval shaped white paper with a hand drawn gold frame, and the oval paper is glued onto a wooden stand.
