Enameling on Copper, Shadows In Winter Pond, Original Art, Light Blue

This enameling is made with enamels painted on or shaken through a screen onto a copper plate and then fired in a kiln. Repeated firings are necessary to add layers. The final step in the process is using a special ink to paint the black areas. This ink is also fired in a kiln. This enameling is entitled, "Shadows In Winter Pond", depicting the shadows of reeds along the edge of a pond.

The enameling may be presented on a stand (which is included), or you may choose to get it framed yourself. The size of the enameling is 6" high and 4" wide. Very pretty in colors of light blue, light tan, and cream, and would be lovely to own! Disclosure: This enameling may have chips or imperfections in it, because it is done by an artist and not machine-produced.
