BIG Antique Arts Crafts Nouveau 4.75 WING BROOCH Sterling Enamel Pearl English

Here's a fabulous and large antique handmade sterling silver brooch. It is designed as a pair of wings centered by an oval piece of mother-of-pearl. The wings are enameled in translucent shades of blue over a textured background. The back has opaque blue counter-enamel and its original c-clasp, pin stem, and tube hinge. A beautiful antique wing brooch!

Unmarked; guaranteed sterling; I believe it is British. There are a few hairlines just to the right of the pearl, and some loss to the counter-enamel in the corresponding location on the back. Fortunately the front has no chips or missing enamel.
