Could be absolutely stunning if restored! NOT TESTED BUT was working prior to remodel of my parents' home in the early 2000s. Since then, has just been literally collecting dust in their basement so DOES NEED A GOOD CLEANING. Needs rewired due to some corrosion/paint on the wires and looks to be missing the ground wire.
The cloth covered wiring that runs down the arms are dirty too so may want all new wiring completely. The column/tube just below the canopy is dented and the canopy has a few very small dings/dents. Baring now a lovely natural patina, this chandelier was once finished in polychrome-multicolored enamel, and probably hand painted...
A few spots of this remain but for the most part has faded away. There is obvious oxidation throughout the metal all over and there is some rust on parts of the chain as well as the candle cups and socket casings.
2 of the links of chain came unhooked so temporarily I ziptied the links together. Total height-38 (top of canopy to bottom of hanging finial).
Chandelier body height-16 (top of fixture loop to TOP of hanging finial). 19 wide at widest part (edge of one arm across to edge of opposite arm). Please review images for more detail. I try my best to photograph damage or flaws and/or disclose them to the best of my knowledge in this description.
