Art Deco 14k Black Enamel Sloan Co. Devotional Locket, Hand Painted Jesus Inside

Gorgeous, one of a kind 14 K yellow gold and enamel devotional locket. This piece has the Sloan & Co. Trident mark on an inside corner. This piece is in excellent condition, especially for its age.

Black enamel coats both sides. It has an octagonal shape. The stopper at the top under the bale opens the lock it with a push. There is a hand painted (most likely Enamel) portrait on the inside of Jesus carrying the cross.

It is highly detailed and I did not see any flaws. There's also spaces for additional pictures if you so choose to add them. I searched and searched for something like this but couldn't find anything and truly believe that this was probably a custom piece made for someone. Would be beautiful for a collection or to give to someone who loves art deco jewelry. I know it is boring, but please read the "fine" print I tried to make it short!
