Good quality continental decanter c1860. Enamelled plaque with a finely decorated armorial with the Latin motto'Bis Dat Qui Cito Dat'.
The base is marked with a gilded arrow, I could not identify this. Height with stopper 28.0 cm. Excellent condition, very clean, no cracks.
The stopper has a small amount of free play and may have come from a matching decanter in a suite, since the decoration matches.
