Antique Art Nouveau Iron Painted Enamel Rose Floral Ram Head Heart Vanity Mirror

I have this beautiful, older cast iron vanity mirror. This is from the 1900's. This came to be dirty and discolored and just an ugly gold.

I decided to fix this up and make it beautiful with enamel paints. I cleaned it many times and then I accented the flowers, leaves, vines, shells, rams heads and the heart in the middle with beautiful enamel paints.

Some colors of the paints are custom so you will not get another like this. The rest of the mirror is accented with custom bronze gold color.

There are red roses and purple flowers on the front, green leaves and vines and two shells. On the bottom there are pink/purple flowers, leaves and 4 rams heads that accent each bottom corner. The back is not as extravagant as the front so there is minimal painting on it, except for bottom base.

The rams heads are accented with black horns and a brown/bronze facial features with eyes and creamy noses painted. The mirror swivels and it moves fluidly and it moves as it should. The back is a brown velvet cloth type material and in good shape. There are nails that hold the backing in. These can be removed but I did not for fear of the mirror falling out completely. The cloth has wear and needs to be cleaned, if you can.

The mirror itself is in very good condition as you can see with minimal scrathes. It's very hard to photo mirrored items due to reflections and light therefore you see the tissue over the mirror itself. I really don't think you want to see me, do you?

I worked very hard on this and enjoyed doing it immensely. I never saw one painted and decided to mix it up and make it fun and unique looking just for you. If you want more photos just ask as I was limited due to ebays 12 photo maximum.
