Antique 19th C Miniature Portrait Painting on Porcelain After Wilhelm Menzler

A lovely miniature portrait of a young lady in elabodate Renaissance attire. The outline of the miniature is transfer printed on a porcelain plaque, and then the portrait is extensively overpainted by hand. Housed in an intricate brass frame with a Rococo style pattern. Frame size 7.5x10cm, painting size 4.8x5.8cm.
