From Marco Lodola's website: Born in 1955, after classical artistic studies, Lodola finds a way to bring together strong colors and solid colors, with futurist and pop formal simplification. This is how his unmistakable style was born, inevitably influenced by his passion for the 50s and classic Italian icons, such as the Vespa, pin-ups and vintage cars. Music, entertainment and society are the mirror of his art, which find their maximum exasperation in his famous light sculptures, the artist shapes plastic materials to his liking, inserts neon or LED lights inside and colors the outside. Rigorously with pop colors and synthesized forms, his works were immediately an incredible success.
