The painting is done in the impressionist style with a landscape with a mother and daughter standing in a beautiful field of flowers. The woman stands with an umbrella in one hand as she reaches down to the vibrant red poppy flower between them. The painting is framed in a wood and gilt gesso frame with a scrolling foliate border and a velvet matte.
The painting is signed on the lower left "MINGOLLA", and on the back "1974 MINGOLLA".
