Louis Cardin Original Enamel on Copper Painting Set of 4 Garden Wildflowers EC

Beautiful group of 4 original painting by Louis Cardin, signed 1978. Each with the authentication and certification label from the Collectors Guild LTD. Wooden frames are antique gold tone finish with a splatter look. They have a white linen matting.

Frames measure 15 3/4" x 13 3/4". Opening 9 1/2" x 7 1/2" (8" x 10" painting, measure the back). Condition: The painting are in beautiful condition.

The frames are very good with a couple frames having a couple small nicks/scratches. I did not attempt to remove the backing, left as is. All 4 have been taped evenly all around the back opening (see pictures). Must have been long ago because the tape is old. The hooks are all in placed but a little bent out of shape.

The linen matting may have some age staining. Comes from a private estate. This lovely group of 4 will display nicely! An original enamel on copper painting by reputed French artist Louis Cardin (born 1931). Cardin creates bright scenes of children playing using kiln-fired enamel pigments over copper, often with a loosely splattered surface texture.

Scene depict a mother with a child and children playing through fields of vibrant wildflowers. Cardin was a student of very well-listed French Cubist Andre L Hote (1885 1962).
