This is one of the largest single sheet of copper fired vitreous enamel artworks I have ever seen requiring tremendous skill and one heck of a kiln. Measuring 24 1/2 square it boasts deliberately wavy/bent napkin edges with brutalist over-fired lava textures in crackled cream over blue framing a nebulous space of cobalt to aqua occupied by 2 etherial female nudes. It appears to be signed in the upper left of the field of blue... The work has sturdy hanger on the back and shows bright copper at all 4 corners... None shows from the front, so I must infer there has been inpaint. Beautifully straddling the line between painting and sculpture, this piece looks like a million bucks on the wall.
