Fabulous French Art Nouveau-Deco Circa 1920s Enamel Jesus Christ ECCE HOMO Painting! Signed A Adam Limoges (lower right corner).

Masterly hand painted enamel on copper with a black lacquered wooden frame. ECCE HOMO, which translate "BEHOLD THE MAN" or as we would say it today THIS IS A MAN! I love the rising sun behind, signifying the dawn, as for the saying "since the dawn of time" since Jesus represents the Dawn Of Time, absolutely lovely! The original was destroyed by hired idiots since Christian art is frowned upon or despised by the new ruling class, so this authentic original enamel hand painted copy is as good as it gets representing this lost art masterpiece.

Approximate dimensions of the frame are 28.1 cm (11 0.5/16 inches) x 24.65 (9 11.5/16 inches), with the exposed enamel painting being approximately 8.4 cm (3 5/16 inches) x 11.95 cm (4 11.5/16 inches). The original was destroyed by some idiot in Spain so now this is the best representation of the original thus original in its own right!
