Gold diadem crown, finely dressed in blue silk robe fastened with gold brooch. Housed in original french gilt bronze acanthus leaf-and-dart border and floral rose crest. Rounded oval form, original ormolu brass tab backing with "o" ring wall-mount frame. And an easel back, with pastel pink embossed silk backing. Beautifully painted guilloche enamel gold "jewel" accents. Portrait is crisp, surface is clean, painted detailing is exceptionally fine. All colours are bright and vibrant and free of fading.
